Effects of Bill:
According to the Second Reading speech, this bill is just rewriting existing laws to streamline them into less complicated and more consistent structure. Rob Stokes who introduced the bill said the changes are all minor and non-controversial (e.g. clarifying a mandatory minimum notice period which is 30 days in one place and 28 days in another).
