This bill being passed means that... The Victorian Government has mandated the states energy supply be 25pc renewable by the end of 2020, 40 percent renewable by 2025 and 50 percent renewable by 2030. NB The Greens tried passing amendments to change the 2030 target to 100 percent renewable however these amendments were rejected
